Hallo aus Masaka!
Nach einer halben Stunde haben wir uns jetzt auch zum Posteingang vorgearbeitet und die Blogseite geoeffnet. Damit wird die Sache mit den Bildern immer unwahrscheinlicher - da muesst ihr wohl noch eine Weile warten und derzeit uns den Genuss ueberlassen.
Ansonsten sind wir wieder alle rundherum fit und haben die Tage auf den Ssesse Islands genossen. Dort sind wir durch den Urwald gelaufen und auf dem Kanu um die Insel geschippert. Gestern war dann wieder Reisetag und heute morgen Regenzeit. Heute Abend sollten wir dann in der Schule in Rakai ankommen (link unter "Farmschool" bei http://www.schenkeeineziege.de/)

just to give all the english readers a chance of knowing what were doing ill try to summarize what we've done in the last week. i have arrived in entebbe n sunday evening and we passed on to ssese islands in lake victoria. this beautiful group of islands is covered with rainforest and crowded by monkeys and all kind of birds (even fish eagles could be spotted closely). we spent two days there, were guided through the rainforest and the local village by kasim, a local of the village, who showed us a lot of stuff. later on, we did a canoe tour on the lake and enjoyed a magnificent sunset... today it was raining but has stopped now, so that we will be able to continue our journey to a school (when it rains, there is not a lot happening on the streets and it is difficult to catch one of the shared taxis commonly used for public transportation in this country). the school's development homepage can be reached via the link pasted in the german text.
